It looks nice, that's about all
This seat is really nice looking, and that's about the extent of it. It's terribly uncomfortable to sit on. I've had it 2 days now and my butt is sore from it. The hinges are nice looking, but will not stay tight. The seat shows dust and smudges terribly. Going to return due to just how uncomfortable it is. A toilet seat should not be painful to sit on.

Wooden Throne
This is a really stunning toilet seat, fit for modest monarchy. The mahogany stain gives the wood a rich look, and the polish makes it shiny for your heiny. This does make smudging inevitable, but a quick wipe with a towel makes it like new. Unfortunately, the hardware is a bit jiggly and loose, and the seat will clap very loudly if you do not close it carefully. Regardless, I am very happy with this purchase, and am officially a toilet seat snob.
nice-looking seat... cleaning is a challenge...
This seat is a dust magnet, and can't be cleaned with much but soap and water. We like the way it looks, though, and while I find it to be a bit uncomfortable (I'm used to the more flat seats), my hubby likes this one and says it doesn't bother him, no matter how long he sits on it (which can be a while, sometimes!)... Overall, it's nice-looking and functions fairly well, so we like it.
