My favorite sink
We put these in the double vanity in our master bath. I wouldn't put it in a kid's bathroom where the ledges would just be an excuse to pile more junk, but in our room it works perfectly. It's a distinct look, rinses easily after shaving, and it really is convenient for toothbrushes and contact lens holders.

Great idea
I love the design of this sink (the ledges on either side)! It looks great and the ledges function beautifully. The only detractor is that the shape of the bowl was not designed to fully/properly drain all the water from the sink. Small pools collect several inches to the right and left of the drain and sit all day if not manually dried and eventually develop a layer of "scum"/red mold/mildew. Rinsing the sink every time you use it is habit but having to dry it every time seems a bit much. I expect a sink to drain fully. Wouldn't think it would be that hard to design.
